Minneapolis, MN – BSI Design Research Lead, Ryan Sohlden lectured at the University of Minnesota earlier this month. Ryan was invited to speak at a collaborative course comprised of business students from the Carlson School of Management and anthropology students from the Department of Anthropology. The lecture guided students through recent design research projects where he explained the impact that end-user input has on final product design. Ryan showed the root of inspiration from field research leading to product innovation. Students were engaged by his anecdotes and experiences about the various people we interview, study and design for.
